Split PDF
Split PDF into multiple files. Right in your browser. 100% free, privacy protected.
Split PDF breaks one document into several smaller files. You can cut at fixed intervals — every page, every 10 pages — or define exact ranges such as 1-5, 12, 20-30 and get one file per range. Page thumbnails are rendered first so you can see where the natural breaks are before committing. Everything runs locally in your browser, which matters when the document you are slicing up is a bank statement, a medical record or an internal report. Output arrives as a ZIP when the split produces more than one file, so you get everything in a single download.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I extract just a few specific pages?
Yes. Enter ranges like 1-3, 7, 15-20 and each range becomes its own PDF. If you want those pages in one file rather than several, use Extract Pages instead.
What do the output files get named?
Each part is named after the original file plus its page range, so document_1-5.pdf, document_6-10.pdf and so on. That keeps the pieces sortable and traceable back to the source.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied across at their original resolution with no re-encoding, so text stays selectable and images keep their original data.
Can I split a password-protected PDF?
You need to remove the password first. Run the file through Unlock PDF with the password you have, then split the unlocked copy.
